Why Silverette® the original has a minimum diameter of 4.5 cm – 1.8 in and 1.6 cm – 0.63 in high ?
This shape and measure is ideal because:
- the nipple is perfectly contained without preassure;
- thinner cups tend to slip from the correct position and move inside the bra

Why 925 silver?
925 silver is the purest form of silver that can be molded into shape. With the purest 999 silver it is just possible to laminate or silver plate objects in other materials which could give allergic reactions (for example silverplated copper). Our silver is certified and in conformity of all the applying laws and directives.

What is the difference between silver 925 and silver 999?
925 silver is the purest form of silver that can be molded into shape. With the purest 999 silver it is just possible to laminate or silverplate which means the objects are in other materials covered by a thin layer of silver. An object made in silver 999 will be to fragile with a high risk of structural changes or breaks.

Is it necessary to wash my nipples before breastfeeding?
No, it is not necessary but if you have the feeling that your baby is disturbed by the smell of milk debris we suggest to rinse your nipples delicately with warm water

How to clean Silverette®?
Wash them daily with warm water to remove any milk residues. To keep them shiny, make a paste using baking soda with a small amount of water. Rub the paste on the cups, rinse thoroughly and dry them.

Is it possible to wash them in the dishwasher?
No, it is not possible to wash them in the Dishwasher & will result in damaging the Sliverette® Cups

It is possible to disinfect Silverette®?
No, disinfectants could damage silver

Yes, if you are using absorbent breast pads, place the breast pads over the Silverette® cups. Your nursing bra will hold everything in place.
